Taxation of NPOs / 2019

This workshop covers some basic notions about the GST and QST and tax obligations for non-profit organizations (NPOs).

This training will be offered in French only

Managers, administrators and cultural workers of artist-run centres and organizations, our trainer will inform you about your organization’s obligations – much more than just the payment of GST and QST!- and answer your practical questions. For example: Is membership taxable? What is the difference between T4, T4a and T5 forms?

  • know the status of NPOs with respect to taxes;
  • understand the accounting for taxes on income and expenses of NPOs;
  • recognize the specific requirements of tax slips and returns for NPOs.

He also founded Vitrines sur la relève, a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of emerging artists.
