Nights proposes a sensory experience where images and sounds answer each other to give shape to a cinematic “nocturne”. The rhythm wants to evoke the dream, playing repetitive motives: the confidences, the multiple forms of the journey through landscapes plunged in the darkness, the succession of the rooms where the mystery floats under the night lights. All in symbiosis with the music of Olivier Girouard. Punctuated by silences, in accordance with the sounds of the night, Nuits celebrates the secret flesh of the world.

This documentary proposes a breach into anarchist imaginaries. Filmed at the Montreal Anarchist Bookfair, the documentary follows the intimate paths of various speakers and looks into the methods of action they propose. Beyond representation, the film translates anarchist experiences as singular practices and lived realities, engaging a reflection anchored in practice.
This documentary hopes to engage a dialogue with the public, to go beyond individual labels and to inspire our own possibilities of self-determination.
