Labsessions #15 | Québec edition – Invitation

The Société des arts technologiques (SAT), the Conseil québécois des arts médiatiques (CQAM), AVATAR, La Bande Vidéo, La Chambre Blanche, Le Labo NT2, Mois Multi, OBORO, Agence TOPO, Studio XX and Vidéographe are pleased to announce the 15th Labsessions event, taking place on Friday February 15th, from 3 to 5pm at Méduse’s Salle Multi, during the 20th edition of the festival Mois Multi in Quebec.

Three projects were selected, and each artist will do a short presentation in front of the audience and media arts professionals. Following the presentations and question and answer periods, the partner organizations will provide constructive criticism, through commentaries and suggestions.

In addition to the Labsessions, partner organization may offer assistance at their sole discretion, which can take different forms depending on their respective mandate and resources (equipment loan, access to media labs, technical support, consultation or mentorship, access to an activity or a festival etc.).

Since its beginning in 2011, Labsessions aims to support emerging artists working in digital arts, and to give them the opportunity to showcase the work they do. These events are also a networking space for artists, digital arts organizations, cultural workers, and the public.
