University Labs Tour

Tuesday, October 18, 2016, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., CQAM invites you to a tour of university labs in digital arts in Montreal, in partnership with Hexagram!

We will visit the university labs of Hexagram-Concordia and UQAM. You will also have the opportunity to discover projects of artsits/researchers.

All artists, cultural workers and those curious or passionate about the arts are welcome.

Schedule 

10:30 am – Meeting with participants at Concordia University, 1515 Sainte-Catherine Street West
10:45 am – Visit to Hexagram-Concordia (mainly in English)
11:00 Visit to the Textiles & Materiality cluster
11:15 Demo at subTela studio + Tajima Room
11:25 Demo at LabXmodal: Sensory Entanglements and Quantified Self
11:40 am Visit of the Post Image Cluster
11:55 a.m. Visit to the Speculative Life cluster
12:15 pm – Lunch break

1:15 p.m. – Presentation of the Hexagram network by Natalie Lafortune, General and Administrative Coordinator at the Agora Hydro-Québec de l’UQÀM (175, avenue du Président-Kennedy)

1:30 p.m. – Visit to Hexagram-UQÀM, Agora Hydro-Québec (presentation of work and labs)

3:00 pm – End of the tour

N.B. Public transportation will be used between the two universities, please provide the necessary funds!
