At a time when paintings written by an AI are selling at exorbitant prices, music written by an AI is making millions of "likes" on YouTube and novels and scripts are written by an AI pen, it is high time to ask the question: "Can the AI generate authentic artists?".
Hugues Bersini, Member of the Royal Academy of Belgium, Professor at the ULB and co-director of the IRIDIA laboratory, will give a two-part lecture and will be followed by a discussion on the challenges of AI in the field of the arts.
