Résonance Festival 2019

September 6th to 8th, 2019. A third edition celebrating the links between radio and literature.

Résonance: the festival of radio art, podcast and sound creation, initiated in 2016 by Magnéto, partners this year with the Phi Centre. This three-day event will offer collective listening sessions, interviews and live performances that honour the art of sound. Résonance is the opportunity to discover new and original documentaries and works of fiction, as well as some of today’s greatest artists in the field.

The theme of this year’s edition, The Invisible Writing, aims to introduce audiences to the historical links between radio and literature, possibilities to imagine for the future, but also, to recognize radio and podcasts as forms of writing. To exemplify this approach, this year’s spokesperson will be Marie-Louise Arsenault, a great radio artist herself (Plus on est de fous plus on lit, Radio-Canada) and essential voice of the literary community.
