Thursday, September 19th, 2019 at 6:30 pm: Public presentation and discussion with Élisabeth Vonarburg
As part of its Slow Tech programming, Studio XX is pleased to welcome artist Marie-Andrée Pellerin in residence until September 21th, 2019. Marie-Andrée Pellerin works primarily with video installation, sculpture and reading-performance. Interested in rhetoric and the power of words, her current research explores language through a post-humanist lense, and addresses topics such as the fluidity of words and the obsolescence of language.
She will present her residency project, L’obsolescence des mots, on Thursday, September 19th, 2019, followed by a discussion with science fiction author Elisabeth Vonarburg.
Doors open at 6:30 pm, discussion at 7 pm.
