For its 2019 – 2021 programming, TOPO is interested in investigating the theme of borders. A vital issue in today’s headlines but also deeply anchored in humanity’s history, this subject combines many questions of interest to the artist-centre which are as much political and social as physical and technological.
For its upcoming edition in the Vitrine exhibition space, TOPO will consider proposals for installations comprising a narrative and formal exploration and/or an engaged discourse that fosters visual, audio and textual exploration, both in its physical and on-screen aspects. We will place particular attention to the diversity of the Americas, including its indigenousness.
