Does your short fiction film project need a boost? Main Film’s production support program can help you carry your project through to completion. The purpose of this program is to stimulate independent film production by providing support to independent filmmakers (equipment and mentorship).
By fostering filmmakers’ artstic practices and development, MF helps artists to discover and define their own creative voice and vision. MF’s purpose is to alleviate creative constraints in order to benefit the artistic community. In keeping with this mandate, the Tricycle program provides artists access to a wide range of production equipment and postproduction facilities free or charges.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Over the course of four months (three cycles per year – one project per cycle), successful applicants will have the opportunity to access all of Main Film’s production and post-production equipment, as needed, to complete their short fiction project, including:
Six shooting days (calendar days)
– Unlimited access to post-production facilities and equipment (Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro 7 and Color)
Main Film does not offer any form of financial support within this program.
