ELEKTRA will offer you another live audiovisual performance on its YouTube channel: ENIGMA by the Purform duo, Yan Breuleux (visual) and Alain Thibault (audio), on Friday June 4th at 3pm (EDT, Montreal time – 9pm CEST, Paris time).
This immersive performance depicts forms of visual and sound information transcoding. The duo explores issues related to artificial intelligence and digital identity, based on the thoughts of mathematician Alan Turing. Thanks to the inclusion of a human-machine dialogue, Enigma allows us to glimpse some of the challenges that machines will face in their learning and decryption of human thought. The use of physicist Robert Oppenheimer‘s famous monologue on the consequences of research on the atom forces us to consider one of the great repercussions of the development of cybernetics.
Join us on ELEKTRA’s YouTube channel on Friday, June 4 at 3pm (EDT, Montreal time – 9pm CEST, Paris time) to watch the ENIGMA performance live!
